Tottenham brushed Bournemouth aside 5-0 to move into the second spot in the Premier League table.
Mauricio Pochettino made four changes to the team in total, from the game at Goodison with Lucas Moura, Walker-Peters, Rose and Foyth all starting in place now of Alli, Trippier, Davies, and Sanchez.
Tottenham took off from where they left off at Goodison, scoring three before half-time yet again courtesy of strikes from Eriksen, Son, and Moura. Tottenham were in cruise control throughout the game and scored two more in the second half with Kane netting one and Son getting his second of the game.
While there were great performances from back to front just like the game against Everton, the ease with which Spurs won the midfield battle was the main reason we were able to come out comfortable winners.
Moussa Sissoko once again put in an assured display, working his socks off defensively and making several of his trademark bursts forward from midfield. Tottenham fans were absolutely over the moon with the 29-year-old’s flawless performance.
Here’s how some Spurs fans reacted on social media to Sissoko’s performance:

#THFC picking up where they left off at Everton.
It’s goals galore, but Bournemouth are unlucky to be trailing by such a large margin.

Spurs are flying. Sonny is on fire. Mousse Sissoko is the best box to box midfielder in World Football.

Given the way the French international has been playing over the past few weeks, the likes of Dier, Dembele, and Wanyama will struggle to get back into the side even when they get fit.
