Some Spurs fans react to team news vs Palace – Aurier starts and Ndombele benched

Few Spurs fans would have predicted to see Serge Aurier in the starting line up today as the Lilywhites take in Crystal Palace at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Aurier has not been seen on the pitch in pre-season or the first four matches so far this campaign.

Kyle Walker-Peters doesn’t even make the squad despite his return to training, with Ryan Sessegnon also without his first appearance on the bench.

This fixture is a repeat from the match that opened the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last season and Heung Min Son will be hoping to recreate his first-ever goal at the ground.

Spurs are without a win in the past three matches and have not recorded a clean sheet all season, so this could be an important kick-starter for them today.
