Tottenham Hotspur fans will have their heart set on a trophy this season, particularly after missing out at the final hurdle in the Champions League last year.
Spurs have not lifted a piece of silverware since Jonathan Woodgate headed in a winner against Chelsea in the 2008 Carling Cup Final.
How appropriate that they now face that very same man in the FA Cup third round, with Woodgate being the current Middlesborough manager.
Spurs will travel away against Borough in the third round as they look to put the misery of the Carabao Cup behind them.
Tottenham were knocked out in their first match against the lowest-ranked team still left in at that point, Colchester United.
Jose Mourinho has won trophies wherever he has gone in his career, whether it be Chelsea, Porto, Real Madrid, Man United, or Inter Milan.
Could he add Tottenham to that list this season?
Some Spurs fans have reacted to the Middlesborough draw:
