Some Spurs fans react to Tottenham starting line-up – ‘Where is Sanchez?’

Tottenham Hotspur take on Southampton in the Premier League this afternoon, and it seems to be a new-look team for Jose Mourinho.

The Special One has seemingly switched to a flat back four, with Ryan Sessegnon and Serge Aurier at full-back, and Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld in the centre. Davinson Sanchez drops to the bench once again.

The central midfield is made up of Tanguy Ndombele, who impressed against Norwich, and Moussa Sissoko, who returns from suspension along with Harry Winks, who only makes the bench.

With Heung Min Son serving the final match in his red card suspension, Christian Eriksen fills in alongside the remainder of the normal front four, Harry Kane, Lucas Moura, and Dele Alli.

After dropping two points at Carrow Road on the 28th, Spurs will be desperate to start the new year as they mean to go on, with a win. This is especially important with a game against unbeaten Liverpool on the horizon.
