Tottenham Hotspur may be in the market for a new right back come the summer, after a slightly inconsistent season for their current crop.
Spurs currently have Kieran Trippier, Serge Aurier, and Kyle Walker-Peters at the club in the right back berth.
However, World Cup hero Trippier’s form has quickly dissipated this season, as he has struggled to maintain high levels of performance.
Going forward, the right back has been okay, but defensively he has not looked himself at all.
Serge Aurier has also always struggled to be defensively disciplined since arriving at Spurs from PSG, and young KWP is still massively inexperienced.
So, could Spurs look to strengthen what is currently a weakened position come the summer?
Rumours are circling that Tottenham may go in for promising Crystal Palace right back Wan Bissaka once the window opens, and it has caused quite the stir on social media among Tottenham fans (Sun).
I think deep down most spurs fans know wan bissaka would be an unrealistic target for us right now

I would love to see Chigwell, Rice & Aaron Wan Bissaka at Spurs next season.

Can’t see Spurs winning the race for Wan Bissaka…. And if Norwich get promoted I can’t see Max Aarons leaving them

Wan Bissaka is better than anybodys RB’s tbh

I agree that Wan Bissaka is better than our current right backs.

What a player Wan Bissaka is. Considering our embarrassments at RB, Spurs should be paying Palace whatever they want for him imo

Grealish and Wan Bissaka in an ideal world. I’d like an elite CM too but Spurs can’t afford that level of player. We have to get guys with potential.

He already has this season. If wan bissaka was in the spurs team he’d be in the England team no doubt

Wan Bissaka should be waiting in the wings to take his slot at Spurs…Trippier has had a terrible season.
