Despite the fact that Spurs managed to wrestle a draw from the game against Watford on Saturday, the performance from the Lilywhites did little to ease the tension around the club.
The team were second best for the entirety of the first half with the Watford players seemed to be first to every loose ball. The visitors took the lead early in the game and defended resolutely, restricting Spurs to just a handful of chances.
Even in the second half, the home side struggled in the final third and only managed to equalise in the 87th minute courtesy of an uncharacteristic error by goalkeeper Ben Foster.
Spurs fans were left extremely angered by the players’ apparent lack of application with some having harsh words about one man in particular – Danny Rose.
Rose, who was partly at fault for conceding the opener, received a lot of criticism from some Spurs fans of social media, with several insisting that they wanted him out of the club.

I don't know why I'm still seeing Danny Rose and Serge Aurier playing for my club

Danny Rose just cannot set foot at left back for this club again.

Spurs Web Opinion
Rose has been pretty poor for a while now and it looks like he is not likely to ever return to the same form he showed a couple of years ago. However, I feel it is unfair to pick on just him as the whole Tottenham back line were horrendous in that game. It was shocking to see how often they gave the ball away during the match.
