Some Spurs fans urge club to snap up 23-year-old Premier League winger

With Norwich City’s relegation to the Championship having been confirmed, Premier League clubs could soon have their eyes on the Canaries top talent.

Despite the poor season which Daniel Farke’s Canaries have had, some of their players have impressed in what has been their first taste of Premier League football.

The two players who have been linked most heavily with Tottenham are Todd Cantwell (Football Insider) and Max Aarons (The Athletic), while Ben Godfrey has also been mentioned as a possible target for the North Londoners (Express).

However, some Spurs fans have their eye on another member of the Norwich squad; Emiliano Buendia.

The 23-year-old has been impressive since arriving at Carrow Road in the summer of 2018 for a modest £1.5million fee from Getafe.

Some Spurs fans believe that Buendia would bring a lot to the Tottenham side and urged the club to make a move.

Spurs Web Opinion

Buendia has been Norwich’s most threatening attacking player on the ball all season. While he certainly is no Allan Saint-Maximin, he is certainly not afraid to take risks when he gets the ball. Rumours indicate that Jose wants to bring in one more wide player this summer and so Buendia could potentially be a bargain option to consider.
