Some Tottenham fans on social media are desperate for the club to launch a bid for Emiliano Buendia, who continues to shine at Carrow Road this season.
Buendia has improved considerably since joining Norwich from Getafe in 2018. The 24-year-old was one of the most consistent performers for the Canaries in his first season at the club and played a key part in helping them to win promotion to the Premier League.
While the winger showed glimpses of his quality in the top flight last season, he did not quite have the numbers to show for it. However, the Argentine has undoubtedly gone up a couple of notches this season and has arguably been the best player in the Championship.
Buendia has scored 12 goals and provided 16 assists in all competitions for Daniel Farke’s side so far this campaign.
The winger was once again the star of the show for Norwich in their 7-0 win over Huddersfield yesterday, setting up three goals and scoring one himself.

Some will argue that performing well in the Championship is not a guarantee of success in the Premier League like we have seen with the likes of Adel Taarabt. Besides, Buendia did not set the world alight in the top flight last season.
However, it is clear that to see that the Argentine has improved considerably this season. Just like Jack Grealish and Eberechi Eze, I believe the 24-year-old could explode in the Premier League over the next two years.
We also have a major bargaining chip in Oliver Skipp, with some reports indicating that Norwich are keen to re-sign him on loan next season if they can get promoted. I would be quite happy to loan Skipp back to Norwich next season if it meant that we would get Buendia.
