Tottenham Hotspur fell to one of their most embarrassing defeats ever in mid-week when Bayern Munich flew over from Germany to demolish them 7-2.
This came after Spurs actually started the game well and went 1-0 up on the night through Heung Min Son.
Dele Alli was back in the starting line up against the German champions, with the England international picking the ball up in some decent areas in the first 25 minutes.
However, once Spurs moved to a diamond formation and Bayern bumped up through the years, Alli struggled to get on the ball at all.
Ex-Arsenal winger, Serge Gnabry, proceeded to smash four past Tottenham on the night, adding to the misery for the fans watching on.
While the vast majority of the Tottenham players looked ashamed, embarrassed, and angry at full-time, some fans were annoyed as Dele appeared share a smile and a joke with Gnabry after the whistle. Other fans saw nothing wrong with having a quick chat.
Geezers got way to big for his boots.
Looks like he cares more about the girls and his boohoo line than the football – what a shame!

Things I want to say about Dele but I’ll keep it quiet for now

Ffs Dele that’s so disrespectful. I mean I love Dele but that’s actually extremely disrespectful

The fact that we still have not had apologies from everyone on the field is a disgrace. How have there not been refunds? You pay to watch your team play not for them to “give up” as Lloris said.

To the U23s and never play again*

However, some Spurs fans did not see a problem with Dele having a chat with another footballer:
How dare he be a good sport ?

“Laughing and joking” man talks with him for 5 secs

Yep u can clearly see laughing and joking definitely not a quick chat about the game or their incidents during the game whilst shaking hands. They stood there and laughed out loud for 5 minutes

Does it matter after all its only a game theirs more to life than who Dele speaks to after the game

It’s called sportsmanship. He showed commitment during the game. Just played shit like the rest. ?

How dare someone be friends with someone outside of football. It’s called good sportsmanship. Did you not see the video where he was actually punching himself in frustration. He then took a deep breath and congratulated the other team, It’s called being a grown up.
