
Some of the Tottenham Hotspur players took to social media following their Champions League victory against PSV Eindhoven.
Spurs needed a win to keep alive their hopes of progressing through to the knockout stages of the competition.
It looked as if Mauricio Pochettino’s men were going to crash out when Luuk de Jong gave the away side a surprise lead after just two minutes with a headed goal.
Tottenham dominated the match and it looked as if it wasn’t going to happen for the home side, only for Harry Kane to once again step up and get the ball in the back of the net.
There was an evident change in Tottenham’s style of play when Fernando Llorente came on in the 75th minute and the Spaniard set up Kane with a deft lay off for the Englishman’s first.
Eleven minutes later there was an element of luck to the winner when Kane’s header was twice deflected from a PSV player and into the back of the net.
