It was reported earlier this week that Tottenham could be looking to sell Tanguy Ndombele to Inter Milan for around £45m this summer (Guardian).
However, such rumours were quickly shut down by the likes of Alasdair Gold from Football London and Dan Kilpatrick from the Evening Standard.
The Daily Mirror later claimed that, although Spurs do not want to sell their record transfer, Ndombele himself wants to leave North London after a torrid first season.
The report added that Jose Mourinho wants the Frenchman to stay, pointing to the example that some players, like Heung-min Son, take a year to adapt to a new league.
Ndombele moved to Tottenham from Lyon in the summer of 2019 for a club-record transfer of £53.8m, although TransferMarkt now claim that he is worth just £40.5m.
Some Spurs fans took to Twitter to react to the reports that Ndombele is already looking for a way out of the club.
We don't even play him on a regular basis, why keep him? Like having an expensive car on the drive you don't drive when your house is leaking! Reinvest where it is needed.

He will devalue in price and effect player moral having a negative influence in the dressing room. Eriksen all over again. Cash in now and reinvest in a back up striker.

But if the guy doesn’t want to be a success at Spurs what’s the point. Gives me the impression he’s after an easy ride

I know about the first season syndrome thing, but this guy looks really unhappy at Spurs, if the money is good let him go.
