Tottenham Hotspur right-back Kieran Trippier will be the first to admit that he had a below par season last time out in a Lilywhite shirt.
Off the back of an incredible World Cup with England, scoring a wonderful free-kick in the semi-finals, Tripps was unable to recreate this form in a Tottenham shirt.
Hampered by sloppy defending, a lack of fitness, and injury problems, right-back became a real issue for Pochettino.
It was therefore not surprising when reports started to link Trippier with a move away this summer, with Napoli and Juventus both said to be keen on a £25m deal for the defender (The Mirror).
However, Trippier did return to Hotspur Way to begin pre-season training today, with no hint of a move in the immediate future (Football London).
Tripps was included in a recent eight-man list, published by the Daily Mail, of players Poch is said to be willing to sell this summer.
As a result, some West Ham fans have leapt on social media to urge their club to buy the right-back.
