Son and Sissoko engage in banter in social media over who is the better finisher

Moussa Sissoko certainly did not have the best of starts to his Spurs career when he arrived from Newcastle in the summer of 2016.

However, the midfielder has turned his fortunes around and become a real fan favourite among the Spurs faithful over the past two years.

For all the incredible attributes the Frenchman has in his locker, including his pace, power and ability to cover a lot of ground, it is safe to say that shooting is not one of his best assets.

The 30-year-old took to social media this week to poke fun at his own shooting ability by posting a picture with Son Heung-min, with the caption: ‘Me to @hm_son7: Listen if you want to score stay behind me and do the same, Ok.’

While that was fairly decent banter on Moussa’s part, Son’s response was even funnier.

Reacting to the midfielder’s caption, the South Korean pointed out how Sissoko’s shooting technique was not the best one to be copying,

Son commented: “If I do the same like you the ball is flying to your home.”

It sounds like spirits within the camp are really high ahead of the restart. In fairness to Sissoko, his finishing has improved considerably since he first joined Spurs. However, let’s just say there is still a lot of room for improvement.
