Son Heung-Min’s impressive goal-scoring stat that will surprise fans

Tottenham forward Son Heung-Min is arguably having his best season in a Tottenham shirt so far and is surely one of the prime contenders for the club’s Player of the Season award.

The South Korean has improved every season since moving to Tottenham back in the summer of 2015 and is finally getting the recognition he deserves.

Son was once again on fire on Wednesday as his brace against Man City at the Etihad ensured that Spurs qualified for the semifinals of the Champions League, and took his tally for the season to 20 goals in all competitions.

The 26-year-old has provided the goals to drag the team over the line in several games, particularly in the absence of Harry Kane.

Son performances this season are even more noteworthy considering the fact that he also went away to represent South Korea in two international tournaments over the course of this season – the Asian Games and the Asia Cup.

A fan broke down all of Son’s goals this season on social media, and it turns out the striker has scored the exact same number of goals with either foot, as well as in home and away games.

The unbelievable stat above just goes on to show how much of a threat the pacey forward is for opposition defences.
