Sources reveal Tottenham’s stance amidst Kane transfer stand-off

Multiple sources are reporting that Tottenham Hotspur have not changed their transfer stance regarding Harry Kane despite the striker’s stand-off with the club.

It emerged on Monday that Kane had not reported for pre-season training at Hotspur Way following his holiday as he felt the club had gone back on a gentleman’s agreement to let him leave.

City are allegedly confident of getting a deal for the England captain over the line and are said to be ready to play the long game as the striker puts pressure on Spurs.

However, despite the 28-year-old’s antics, it appears that Tottenham are as yet unmoved.

Romano has tweeted out that Spurs ‘insist’ they want to keep the striker and even claimed on his YouTube Channel that the North London club are ‘convinced’ the striker will still be at the club next season.

Football.London’s Alasdair Gold also discussed Tottenham’s stance in his report on the Kane fiasco, stating that the club have always maintained that they have no intention of selling Kane, particularly to a fellow Premier League rival.

Meanwhile, in further developments, it has emerged that the striker is expected to return to Hotspur Way later this week and feels that the situation has been blown out of proportion.

Spurs Web Opinion

It is clear that Kane has been advised terribly and has only made it harder for himself to get out of Spurs.

Even if one ignores the disrespect that the striker is showing the club or fans, surely he will know that Daniel Levy is not one to take kindly to being pressured in this manner.

I would not be surprised if the Spurs chairman’s stance has actually hardened rather than softened after this fiasco.
