Southgate apparently wants to start this Spurs man

Tottenham Hotspur have been a keen provider of top English talent, particularly over the past five years or so.

The club currently have the likes of captain Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Harry Winks, Kieran Trippier and Danny Rose all in the squad when fit and ready.

This marks more first team players than any other club in the Premier League, a proud achievement for a club that invests a lot in its academy.

As Gareth Southgate has been hit with injuries to centre mids Dele Alli and Jesse Lingard, The Mirror claim the manager is set to start Harry Winks against Croatia on Friday in the UEFA Nations League.

England will want revenge on their Croatian counterparts after they bested them by two goals to one in the World Cup semi-final in Russia this summer.

Harry Winks missed the World Cup through injury, but he will be keen to earn his England starting place this week, especially with a severe shortage in holding midfield talent at the moment.
