Spain U21 star and reported Tottenham target speaks out on transfer rumours

There were a number of standout stars in this summer’s U21 European Championships, one of them being Spanish winger Dani Olmo, who helped his side to lift the trophy.

The 21-year-old clearly caught the eye of some of Europe’s elite, with Manchester United and Tottenham both said to be interested in signing him this summer (Mirror).

The youngster currently plays for Dinamo Zagreb, and was named the player of the season in Croatia last year.

Not exactly being one of the dominant forces in Europe, Zagreb may be tempted to cash in on their promising young star this transfer window while there is a certain buzz around him.

However, Olmo himself has now claimed that he has heard nothing about any interest from outside clubs, as his manager and father deal with that side of things.

Olmo also added that the most important thing for him as a young player is to be guaranteed minutes on the pitch, so that may rule out a big move at this moment.

He said (T-Portal): “Honestly, I know absolutely nothing about it. It’s for my manager Andy Bara and my dad. However, I’m not burdened by this.

“It’s very simple – I want a club where I will play. I am still young and for me, it is most important that I have minutes.”
