According to SkySources, Swansea striker Fernando Llorente is currently undergoing a medical ahead of a £12 million move to Tottenham.
This morning, it had been revealed that Spurs had swooped in to steal Swansea striker Fernando Llorente from under Chelsea’s very nose, after Chelsea had emerged as favourites to sign the Spaniard earlier in the week.
However, recent reports have suggested that Tottenham’s attempts to hijack the deal have been a huge success, with SkySources now claiming that the 32 year old forward is already having a medical at Spurs.
Tottenham and Swansea are rumoured to have agreed a modest fee of just £12 million for the experienced goal-scorer, while it is understood that the likelihood of Chelsea fighting off Spurs for their man is decreasing by the minute.
In addition to this, it has also been revealed that Tottenham have still not abandoned the potential signing of Ross Barkley and that the club may make a move for the Englishman after wrapping up the Llorente deal.
If true, then Spurs may be about to snipe two Chelsea transfer targets in a matter of hours.
Are you happy with this deal? And do you think we should still pursue Ross Barkley?
