Spurs accept bid for first team player

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to sell a number of players in this January transfer window, with some out of Poch’s plans, and others coming towards the ends of their contracts.

Mousa Dembele is in the final six months of his deal in North London, and SkySports have now reported that Tottenham have accepted a £9m bid for the midfield man.

Chinese club Beijing Sinobo Guoan from the Super League have come in with the bid.

The 31-year-old has struggled with injuries over the past few seasons, and would probably not be able to keep up with the Premier League’s hectic schedule for much longer.

If the Belgian marauder is to accept the terms offered by Beijing, it would call time on over six years at Tottenham.

Dembele has racked up nearly 250 appearances in the Spurs colours, and has been a huge part of Pochettino’s transformation job in London.

We wish Dembele all the best for the future. What a player.
