Spurs agree terms as forward heads for exit door

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly agreed terms with Turkish giants Fenerbahce over a loan deal for Dutch striker Vincent Janssen and a deal is just days away from completion, according to Turkish news outlet Sporx.

The renowned news outlet has claimed via their website that Spurs and Fener, after protracted negotiations have finally come to an agreement which will see the former AZ Alkmaar striker return to the Super Lig after spending last season with the Istanbul outfit. It was not a hugely successful loan as niggling injuries limited his playing time to just 18 appearances.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino this week confirmed that Janssen was not part of his plans for the forthcoming season. Janssen has not travelled with the rest of the squad on the USA tour and with the deal just days away, the forward is set to jet out to Turkey and put pen to paper on a contract before the end of the week.

We wish Vincent well after his troubled time at Tottenham and hopefully, it includes an obligation to buy him at the end of the summer.
