Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are reported to be battling it out for the highly-rated Nigerian starlet, Sani Emmanuel.
The striker was voted as the best player in tournament by FIFA in the World Under-17 championships in Nigeria earlier this campaign and has already had trials with Chelsea.
Spurs are said to be leading the race for Emmanuel, who currently plays for My People in his homeland. His current side want a long-term relationship with the club which Emmanuel joins, which would mean donations of kit and equipment, as well as trials for promising players.
He was previously had a short spell with Swedish outfit Bodens BK.
