Spurs and PSG in touch over potential last-gasp swap deal

Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain have been in touch over a possible swap deal between Danny Rose and Layvin Kurzawa, according to ESPN.

However, the negotiations may have come too late with just over one hour remaining for Spurs to bring any players in.

Kurzawa signed from Monaco, making 46 appearances for PSG and scoring an impressive seven goals in that time.

The 25-year-old had previously been linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers but it is believed the left-back wanted to continue his career at a Champions League club.

It is believed left-back Danny Rose was offered to Bundesliga side Schalke last night but the Englishman is holding out for a move to the Ligue 1 champions.

Spurs and PSG have dealt in full-backs previously with Serge Aurier joining the Lilywhites last summer.

Lucas Moura also left PSG in January for the north London side but it is believed a move for Kurzawa has come too late in the day to complete.
