After the transfer window kicked into life for Spurs last night in the new post-Modric era, we have now completed our first signing since the Croatian left White Hart Lane.
The news broke last night that Fulham midfielder Moussa Dembele was close to be completing a move to Tottenham when manager Martin Jol confirmed that a bid had been accepted by Fulham for the player and the Belgium international was reported as undergoing his medical earlier on today.
The signing has now been confirmed on the official Tottenham Hotspur website: “We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Fulham for the transfer of Moussa Dembele”.
Details on the deal have not been disclosed yet but the transfer fee is reported as being in the region of £15m, although this has yet to be confirmed by either club.
