Tottenham Hotspur have announced an eight-year extension to their shirt sponsorship deal.
The agreement with existing shirt sponsor AIA has been extended until the end of the 2026/27 season and is rumoured to be worth £320million or £40million a year which brings Spurs in line with the revenue which Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea receive for their respective deals.

AIA first appeared on the Spurs shirt in 2013 for cup competitions and was rolled out to all competitions in the 2014/15 campaign.
The deal will see the AIA branding appear on the men’s, women and academy teams’ shirts and was officially announced in Shanghai earlier today with chairman Daniel Levy present.

Spurs have previously announced that they agreed a fifteen year extension with Nike to provide their kit until at least 2033, which is said to be worth £30million a year (The Sun).
Further revenue could be generated by the club if they decide to sell the stadium naming rights, whilst there is also space on the sleeve of the playing jersey for a sponsor – something which Spurs are yet to explore.
