Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. AS macca says where is Bostock and why missing numbers or is it these are the ones looking to be filled before deadline 4 for defensive midfielder and 11 for left winger? just my wishful thinking

  2. Actully i thought that Livermore had gone out on loan to Derby ? well i thought, if he has then its a right cockup on the Spurs website, as i thing 29 will be Bostock ehh, come on lads sort it out like hehe….. my prediction for sunday …… Spurs 2 – 1 Liverpool …..COYS

  3. thank god theres no number 4! its something stupid like 15 yrs or so since anyone wearing number 4 has scored a goal for us .as for number 11 ,well lets hope a left winger is due to arrive soon . what does anyone think about damien duff in that role ?

  4. @ Johnny Bagel, Duff is not good enough, he has lost all his pace and ambition and drive, id love to see Robben ummm oh yeah hehe

  5. Duff was a good option three years ago when we missed out on him for $5 mil. Since then he has not been able to stay fit for any stretch.

I wanted Stephen Hunt, but Hull made the swoop.

  6. Sissoko would be nice to wear the number 4 shirt, and as for a Left winger….hmmmm… sureley we can fork out £25 for Ashley Young??

  7. I’d fork out £25 for Ashley Young out of my own pocket lol, Cheaper than buying Pro Evo, anyway, i think Scott Brown for number 4 and unfortunately Belhadj for number 11, we will get him cheap, but i don’t think he is good enough, i would like to see Giovani on the left wing, but its interesting, i can’t wait to see the line up on sunday, i’m thinking Gomes, Corluka, King, Bassong, Ecotto, Modric, Palacios,Jeanas, Lennon, Defoe and Keane.

  8. Ha ha lol I meant £25m :D But I agree that we will probably end up with the useless Belhadj! Wouldnt mind us getting Scott Brown but i’ve only ever seen him play once. I think on Sunday the team will be….. Gomes (GK), Hutton (RB), King (CB), Bassong (CB), Ekotto (LB), Lennon(RM), Palacios(DM), Modric(LM) Keane (AM), Defoe(ST), Pavlyuchenko(ST) COYS!!!

  9. anyone would lose ambition ,passion and drive playing for newcastle lately. but at 4 mill he could be a bargain. just the sort of slightly passed it player that arry loves . he could get a couple of decent seasons out of him.then rose may have matured enough for that left wing position.

  10. Livermoore is on a months loan, so has been given a squad number, with Bostock missing I would think that he must be on the verge of a session long long spell somewhere… QPR???

Sissoko is a hell of a shout for the No.4 Shirt, aswell as Van der Vaart/Young for 11.

But why has Bentley, Jenas, Chimbonda, Dervite, Santos, Boatang all have numbers…. when there is so much press about them leaving???

Also there is only 28 player is our 1st team squad that isn’t that bad, considering the size of it usually…

  11. I agree with GK20xx, Sissoko as no 4 would be an essential move in hardening our notorious ‘Soft underbelly of a midfield’ as for left wing position-look no further than squad no 17. Maybe then consider duff/petrov as a back up to Gio, common whats the point in spending big when we have a much coverted player with skill and craft to do the (LW)job for us – harry give the lad a chance. However Robben(£10-£15Mil) did look good against England in mid week. COYS

  12. Duff is a no go i think, 4 years ago maybe, he is still talented and maybe linking up with Keane would do him some good. 4-4-2 Diamond a bit risky against Liverpool though wouldn’t you say? I think the team you mentioned would be Harry’s team for lesser opponents but with Crouch instead of Pav (although i prefer Pav).
We need to defend with 6 and attack with 5, so with Keane playing AM that would work, either way he will definately start against Liverpool, i think next season Wilson will be captain.

  13. If we finished above Villa, I think we could get Young next year, shame not this year though… My Prediction is, 1st – Chelsea 2nd Man United 3rd Liverpool 4th Arswholes 5th Spurs 6th Everton 7th Man City 8th Aston Villa. But I reckon the table will be tighter than last year :S

  14. Very good, Mine is similar only i’ll go a be 1st Liverpool, 2nd Chelsea, 3rd Utd, 4th Arsenal, 5th Spurs, 6th Everton, 7th Villa, 8th West ham, 9th City,

  15. I would give Villa Bentley, Jenas, Chimbonda and Boateng plus £5m for Ashley Young, Villa would have strengthen thier squad like they want to and gained some good players. I forgot earlier about the Hudd as well, i would like to see more pitch time for Tommy this season, i think he has so much creativity we need to tap into that.

  16. Squad is still too big in my opinion. Boatang is not going to get a game, nor will Chimbonda. They will not even make the bench. Only reason Chimbonda is still there is because maybe he could play full-back with all the injuries we have there.

We must keep Bale, Dos Santos, and Dervitte for the future.

Bentley can go now and I will gift wrap him for them.
