Spurs announce youngster with 23 first-team appearances has been loaned out

Tottenham Hotspur have now announced that academy graduate, Oliver Skipp has been loaned out to Norwich City for the duration of the 2020/21 campaign.

Norwich were relegated from the Premier League last season and will surely be looking to mount a promotion charge this time around.

Skipp has never been loaned out by Tottenham before, despite being just 19-years-old and having a number of first-team appearances to his name.

The teenager broke through under Mauricio Pochettino in the 2018/29 season after impressing on the pre-season tour. He managed to earn 12 appearances that season, before racking up 11 more in the last campaign (Wikipedia).

Jose Mourinho revealed earlier this year that Skipp had requested a 2020/21 loan move in order to gain some more consistent first-team experience (Standard).

It seems as if the Tottenham man has been given his chance to shine in the Championship, following the loan move of his fellow academy man Troy Parrott to Millwall earlier this month.
