Tottenham Hotspur have posted something on social media that many Arsenal fans think was a direct dig at their club.

Tottenham’s brave performance
Despite being reduced to ten men early in the game against Qarabag, Spurs never stopped trying to attack and continued to commit bodies forward.
They got their reward as they emerged with a 3-0 win, partly thanks to some poor finishing from the visitors and a couple of outstanding saves from Guglielmo Vicario.
The result vindicated Postecoglou’s high-risk approach, with the Australian refusing to shut up shop even when his side had a numerical disadvantage.

Arsenal fans offended
Following the win on Thursday, Tottenham posted a tweet pointing out how they never stopped playing their football despite being down to ten men.
Many Arsenal fans felt that this post was a direct dig at them, given that the Gunners had defended with everyone at the edge of their own box after going down to ten men against Manchester City.
Several Arsenal fans responded furiously to the post, with many pointing out that there is no comparison between the quality of the opposition that Spurs faced and the one they faced.

Matter of principle for Ange
Many could argue that it makes more sense to be a bit more pragmatic when a team goes down to ten men rather than go all-out attack and leave spaces at the back.
However, Postecoglou is trying to instil an ethos into the squad about never backing down and always going for the jugular.
If the Australian suddenly asks his players to be more pragmatic, that could send mixed messages to the squad about how the team is supposed to play moving forward.
