Spurs are keeping an eye on the brother of one Arsenal star – Journalist reports

Journalist Graeme Bailey has revealed that Tottenham are one of several clubs are closely following Jurrien Timber’s twin brother, Quinten Timber

Jurrien joined Arsenal in a £40m deal from Ajax in the summer on the back of three impressive seasons in the Eredivisie but the Netherlands international picked up an ACL injury after playing just two games for the Gunners.

It has now emerged that his twin brother, Quintin, could also follow him to the Premier League, with several top-flight clubs said to have their eye on the 22-year-old.

Quinten also came through Ajax’s youth academy but he now plays for the club’s fierce rivals Feyenoord.

The versatile midfielder played a valued role in the Rotterdam club’s historic title triumph last season and has started the new campaign impressively at De Kuip.

Tottenham are looking at Quintin Timber

Bailey has now revealed that Spurs, Liverpool, Man City, Man United, and Arsenal have all been impressed by Quintin’s displays.

The journalist told the Talking Transfers Podcast (as relayed by TBR Football): “I like Quintin Timber in this role, and so do the teams who have been watching Feyenoord, the likes of Liverpool, Man City, Man United, Tottenham, Arsenal.

“They have all been very impressed by this young lad, he’s more a midfielder than his twin brother, so let’s keep an eye on him, could we see Timber’s brother in England? I wouldn’t rule it out.”

Just because Spurs are scouting Quintin Timber, does not mean that an offer is imminent. We also know that the North London club are also tracking the progress of another Feyenoord star in Santiago Gimenez.
