Spurs and Arsenal chase Real Madrid ace

Tottenham are set to do battle with Arsenal for Real Madrid ace Dani Ceballos according to The Daily Star

Spanish midfielder Ceballos arrived at the Bernabeu during the summer from fellow La Liga side Real Betis however the 21-year-old has failed to establish himself in the first-team.

The article says that he is reportedly unhappy at the club and is seeking a move away, just five months after arriving and according to Calciomercato, north London sides Arsenal and Spurs are both keen to bring him to the Premier League.

The article adds that he is also attracting attention from Serie A giants AC Milan but could be interested in a loan move back to Real Betis.

It’s added that the young star has started just twice in the league for Real this season but bagged a brace in a 2-1 win at Alaves in September.

Calciomercato report that Zinedine Zidane didn’t want to sign Cabellos, however the player was brought in by president Florentino Perez who hoped to build a core of young Spanish talent at the club.

It’s added that both Arsene Wenger and Mauricio Pochettino are keen to sign him up in their efforts to rescue their hopes of a top four finish.
