That is what is being reported in today’s Sunday Mirror. The Argentine international has failed to hold down a regular first-team place since Jose Mourinho took charge of the Spanish giants.
Liverpool are said to be favourites to land Gago, who has two years left on his contract and Real want at least £10million.
