Spurs to bid £26m for Spanish striker?

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is set to make a surprise £26m move for Athletic Bilbao’s striker Fernando Llorente.

After reportedly having a bid for Newcastle striker Andy Carroll rejected, Redknapp is daid to have move Llorente his main target ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline day closure.

The 25-year-old has 12 goals in 20 La Liga games this season and netted three times in two games for Spain in October’s Euro 2012 qualifying games.

  2. I’d be happy if this was true.. really hoping it is.. the guy is big n not bad with his head.. he should fit in well with our squad.. the other striker who I’d love to see us sign but that nobody ever mentions is Lisandro Lopez.. I reckon he’d be amazing in the premier league

  3. liorente Alex what have you been smoking? 12-15 mill last season , bullshit, more team wanted him then the value grows. Hulk is not good enough for england,. maybe benz
