Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has said that the players are fully focused on winning the game against Crystal Palace on Sunday and progressing to the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Tottenham travel to Selhurst Park on the back of being knocked out of the Carabao Cup following a penalty shootout against Chelsea.
This was yet another great opportunity for Spurs to end their eleven-year trophy drought but the Lillywhites went out at the semi-final stage once again. Pochettino admitted that the team was tired and disappointed after the defeat.
If Tottenham lose on Sunday, they could be out of both domestic cup competitions within a space of four days.
When asked if it was important that it was important that Tottenham bounce back immediately against Crystal Palace, the Argentine said that the team’s focus will always be on the next game.
Speaking during his pre-match press conference, Pochettino told Football.London, “I think it’s (game vs Palace) the same. It’s important. Always when you are going to play, it’s the most important game that you have ahead. Palace now is our most important game for sure.
