Spurs boss singles out one man for praise

Tottenham Hotspur have enjoyed a great run of form in all competitions of late, capped off with a 2-0 win over their North London rivals yesterday.

Spurs remain in all four competitions they started the season in, showing the sensational start they have had to this campaign.

We are not even at Christmas, and Spurs have their best start to a Premier League campaign ever, they’re in the knockouts of the Champions League, and the semi-finals of the League Cup.

One man who has been in sensational form over the past couple of weeks is left back Danny Rose.

Rose has played a big part in all three of these competitions recently, with wins over Arsenal and Burnley, as well as a point away at the Camp Nou.

It’s nice to see the defender back to his very best, after some tough periods for him on and off the pitch.

Pochettino singled him out for praise at his press conference, as well as congratulating the team.

He said (Football London): “I’m happy, not only for him but the team. We managed that period well. Danny of course in the last few games has had the opportunity to play. I’m so happy with his performance.”
