The England striker has completed a medical and agreed personal terms at Spurs, with the transfer fee said to be around £9million.

  1. Congratulations! Why don’t we call Robbie Fowler’s agent too??!!Another striker, who’s surely not better than Bent. I guess that’s just the way it is. A mid-table team buying another mid-class player…

  2. Well if you look at both the goal scoring records last year you would find Bent our highest scoring player has a massive 17 from 42 appearances where as Crouch has 16 from 41… Truth is that not much in the goal scoring ratio but Crouch holds the ball up much better than Bent and makes a great pairing with Defoe.. Also consider we get 14 mil for Bent and Crouch for 9 Million we make 5 Mil on the Trade to improve another area of the team.. Good Business In my Opinion..
Oh and of course the best bit is, Crouchy does that great robot dance and thats completely free…. COYS>…..

  3. ha ha, crazy legs crane playing at the lane should be a laugh at least! but seriously I dont think we will attract the top players until we break into the top four and secure champions league unless of course we start paying out silly money like the blue mancs, and i dont see that happening anytime soon.

  4. right on harry. good move. now unload those excess baggage; bent, pav, bently & cimbo. so get one quality CB for defense – MARCO MATERAZZI or ALESSANRO NESTA . big, realiable, experience, good with the head, can score goals & mature in age. which is a good thing cos they might come in cheap………..

  5. Well he is a Spurs player now and we have to get behind him. We still have not bought a left sided player in midfield but i now believe its time to give Gio Dos Santos a run in the side he was great at Ipswich last season and was just named player of the tournament in the Concacaf cup.
