Spurs could sign James Rodriguez for just £3m

Tottenham Hotspur are in dire need of some extra weapons in their attacking arsenal over the next month or so.

Spurs revealed yesterday that Harry Kane would be out until early March after sustaining an ankle injury in the 1-0 loss to Man United on Sunday (BBC).

This leaves Tottenham with only Fernando Llorente as the sole fit senior forward at the club, with Heung Min Son away with South Korea, and Lucas Moura nursing a knock of his own.

However, a report from the Daily Mail may provide an answer to Tottenham’s troubles, as one Bayern Munich star could be available for just £3m.

The Mail say that Arsenal have the chance to sign James Rodriguez on loan until the end of the season, if they pay the £3m still owed to Real Madrid.

Tottenham should be jumping in on this deal, as the former World Cup player of the tournament would add a touch of class to the Spurs front line.
