Spurs to make cut price January move for Pienaar

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is to make a new cut-price move for Everton’s Steven Pienaar.

According to the Daily Mirror, Redknapp is ready to move for the South African midfielder in the January transfer window.

Pienaar is out of contract at Goodison Park in the summer and according to the report, Tottenham’s chief scout Ian Bloomfield went to watch the player last weekend.

There is no sign of Pienaar agreeing a new contract at Everton and Spurs look set to take advantage.

  1. Great to think hence & keep our ears close to the transfer market. However,we should not lose sight of grooming those that we already have in stock. They need to be utilised either in the reserve team or be loaned out. Otherwise we will be sitting with inexperienced/unfit players & serving no purpose to our cause.Proven with the Arsenal match.

  2. he is a good player ,that you read has a new contract, hasnt a new contract.if palacious goes(another rumour)alongside sandro,it would make a great tough tackling and great passing midfield(sorry tom).on another subject gio was on the team sheet for the cup.where was he?this is the same player that got a award at the world cup for his great play.if you cant or will not do it for spurs, bye, bye
