Joe Rodon has admitted that he did not have much of a conversation with Ange Postecoglou last summer before being loaned out to Leeds United.

Rodon’s season has ended in bitter disappointment as Leeds fell at the final hurdle, losing the playoff final to Southampton on Sunday and being consigned to another year in the Championship.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for the centre-back but it is quite clear that it is not at Tottenham, with the defender having just one year left on his deal at the North London side.
It has been widely reported that the 26-year-old, who is valued at £12m- £15m by Spurs, is generating a lot of interest ahead of the summer transfer window (TEAMtalk).

Joe Rodon has not spoken to Postecoglou often
The centre-back has confessed that he did not get much of a chance to impress Postecoglou when the Australian arrived at Spurs last summer.
When asked if he spoke with the new Tottenham boss, Rodon told The Daily Mail: “Not really. I didn’t communicate a lot on that side. I’m a big boy and I’m not going to dwell on things. I knew that the best thing for me was to be playing every week.”
The Wales international revealed that he had made up his mind to move to Elland Road as soon as Leeds came calling last summer.
Speaking about his move to the Championship side, the Spurs man said: “Things developed at the back end of the transfer window last summer and I’d played against the boss’ (Daniel Farke’s) Norwich team a few times. I felt his style of football was always going to benefit me and how I like to play.
“Of course Leeds being Leeds, it’s a massive club and I just knew it was a big opportunity. It’s probably been the maddest season ever, but I’ve loved every minute of it.”
Spurs Web Opinion
Rodon evidently seems to have a genuine connection with Leeds and I suspect that he might not want to continue at the club despite their failure to get promoted.
However, Farke’s men might not be able to afford him, given that they will not get the riches that would have come with bouncing back to the top flight at the first time of asking.
