Ledley King is hoping to be a regular fixture in the heart of the Tottenham Hotspur defence this season.
The Spurs skipper has struggled with a long-term knee injury which has limited the amount of games he can feature in. The 28-year-old now rests between matches and rarely trains in a bid to keep the swelling to a minimum.
“Hopefully I can get more games under my belt,” King said.
“Personally, I’m not aiming to play a certain number, just as many as I can.
“Obviously there’s no Europa League this season for us so hopefully that will help me.”
