Tottenham Hotspur defender Steven Caulker has joined Bristol City on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 18-year-old recently made his first-team debut for Spurs in the Carling Cup the defeat to Arsenal.
Caulker’s loan deal falls under the category of a youth loan and will still be allowed to train with Spurs and play reserve-team matches. A recall clause has also been inserted that becomes active after 28 days.
Bristol City boss Keith Millen told BBC Radio Bristol: “He’s very athletic, quick and has got a fantastic attitude.
“I think Danny Rose has put in a good word for us and it’s good that we’ve got a good working relationship now with Tottenham.
“Tottenham have got high hopes for him to become a Premier League defender and hopefully we can improve him and he can do well for us.”
