Spurs defender now set to stay as PSG move breaks down

PSG have pulled out of the race for Tottenham defender Danny Rose, according to ParisUnited.

It is believed the Ligue 1 champions questioned the ‘profile’ of Danny Rose, being one of the numerous reasons they no longer have an interest in signing the left-back.

The 28-year-old has endured a turbulent year and a half at Tottenham following a lengthy spell out due to injury.

During his nine months of recovery, the defender suffered from mental health problems and put his Spurs career in doubt with a controversial interview with The Sun.

Welsh left-back Ben Davies has since secured the left-back position in Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs side.

A move back up north looked imminent for Danny Rose with Manchester United seemingly interested.

However, Jose Mourinho’s side also dropped their interest in the Doncaster born defender.

Rose now looks set to stay at Spurs with no serious interest coming in for the defender but with the Premier League, Champions League and other domestic cups to play for is that such a bad thing?
