Jonathan Woodgate will not be heading out on loan Harry Redknapp has confirmed.
With Michael Dawson now suspended for three matches, along with injuries to Ledley King and Younes Kaboul – Spurs are short of central defensive cover.
“Jonathan Woodgate is going to be pushed back into action quicker than we ever expected,” Redknapp told Sky Sports News. “We have got to see how he is. Hopefully he has had no reaction and he could be available pretty quickly.
“He is a fantastic player. There is no chance of him going out on loan.”
