Spurs duo Ryan Sessegnon and Oliver Skipp named in list for prestigious award

Ryan Sessegnon and Oliver Skipp have both been included in the long list for the latest Golden Boy award (Tuttosport).

The Italian outlet, Tuttosport, created the award in 2003 in order to showcase the best young talent that Europe has to offer in the top tier leagues.

Among the 100 nominees, Tottenham’s Sessegnon and Skipp were listed as two of the 21 Premier League stars to be included.

Recent winners of the award include Joao Felix, Matthijs de Ligt, and Kylian Mbappe (FourFourTwo). Current Premier League stars, Raheem Sterling, Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba have also won the award.

Sessegnon made the switch across London last summer as Spurs signed the teenager from Fulham, but he has since struggled to win a place in the starting line-up.

Meanwhile, Oliver Skipp has graduated through the Spurs academy and has been slowly building his senior game time over the past two seasons.

We have all seen what Sessegnon is capable of during his time at Fulham, however, we have only seen a snippet of Skipp on the pitch. There have been plenty of good things said about the young midfielder, so it will be interesting to see what he is actually capable of when given a chance.
