Tottenham coach Joe Jordan has suggested that Harry Redknapp will not field a weakened team in the Europa League tie against Hearts.
The first leg takes place on Thursday in Edinburgh. Spurs then take on Manchester United on Monday night and then face Hearts in the second leg next Thursday. Manchester City then follow three days later.
‘I don’t think that will ever enter the man’s head,’ said Jordan.
‘He knows the difficulty of this game and he knows the danger of the opposition.
‘There’s a certain balancing act you have to do, because we haven’t played yet. We have this game, then we have a game on Monday, then Thursday and then Sunday.
‘So, from not playing a game, we have four games in a condensed period of time and there’s not an easy one in it.
‘There’s not one you could look at and think that – it’s just not on. So there will be a lot of discussion.’
‘We have a few knocks,’ added Jordan. ‘William Gallas is out, Sandro is out, Steven Pienaar is out and I don’t think Ledley King will be fit.’
