Tottenham Hotspur took on Man City last night in the Champions League quarter final first leg at the new Spurs stadium, which meant a welcome home for Kyle Walker.

Some Tottenham fans may remember Walker’s tweet after the two sides were drawn against each other earlier in the year, as the former Spurs fullback said ‘This will be fun’ alongside a picture of him smirking.

However, Tottenham were the ones left smiling last night as Heung Min Son’s late winner gave them a narrow advantage to take into the second leg.

What made this all the more brilliant was the fact that Walker had an absolute shocker of a night.

One Spurs fan felt the need to point this out to his followers and Kyle by posting the right back’s match stats alongside his old, poorly-aged tweet.

This was made all the worse for Walker when you look at what a stormer of a game Kieran Trippier had too.
