Tottenham Hotspur fans have wasted no time in getting their payback on Piers Morgan for a Tweet he posted earlier today.
The shamed former editor of the Daily Mirror, who is known for his outspoken support of Arsenal took to Twitter earlier today to boast about his side’s narrow 1-0 win against Premier League strugglers Huddersfield Town.
Morgan decided to try and rile Spurs and Chelsea fans by pointing out that Arsenal were now above both of their Premier League rivals in the table, but such is his footballing expertise he left himself open for retribution from Spurs fans.

Tottenham did not take to the field until 7:45pm this evening at Leicester City and the 2-0 victory for Mauricio Pochettino’s side means that they have now once again overtaken their North London rivals into third place that knocks the Gunners back down to fifth place.
Arsenal may be 21 games unbeaten in all competitions but Spurs didn’t make a signing in the summer and are practically homeless yet are still above them.
