Tottenham will be without manager Mauricio Pochettino on the touchline in the games against Southampton and Liverpool after he received a two-game touchline ban from the Football Association for his altercation with Mike Dean.
Pochettino and his assistant Jesus Perez were seen getting involved in a heated debate with Dean after the pair seemed to lose their cool at something Dean uttered.
The Spurs manager has since then apologised for his behavior but that hasn’t stopped the FA from punishing him. This means that Jesus Perez will take over the mantle of organizing the team from the touchline, although Pochettino will be allowed to communicate to Perez from the stands.
Perez himself is a little fortunate not to have also been punished as he too squared up to Mike Dean after the game at Turf Moor.
