Some Spurs fans continue to mock Sol Campbell’s start at Macclesfield

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have once again taken great pleasure in hearing that Sol Campbell’s Macclesfield Town have lost again.

The Silkmen were in League Two action on Saturday at Colchester United and went down to a 29th minute goal from Mikael Mandron.

The defeat was Campbell’s second defeat in as many matches since taking charge of the side who are rooted to the bottom of the table with just 13 points from 21 games.

Macclesfield were on a two-match winning run in the league before Campbell took over. In midweek during his first game in charge of the club, he suffered defeat and elimination from the EFL Trophy.

They were beaten by Newcastle Under-23’s at St James’ Park on penalties for the first time in their 144-year history.

Spurs fans will never forgive the defender for walking out on the club in 2001 on a free transfer in order to join rivals Arsenal.

Self-proclaimed “as one of the greatest minds in football” (Sky Sports), Campbell is certainly making waves with his 100% record of defeats
