Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier has had a frustrating season, having to spend a considerable amount of time on the sidelines after first suffering from Appendicitis and then Tonsillitis.
The 24-year-old, who has been an ever-present in Pochettino’s teams in the last few years, has thus hardly featured for Spurs this season.
The midfielder’s recent return to action is certainly great news for Tottenham as Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko look like they could use a break, having played almost every single game recently.
The England midfielder, although commanding and loud on the field, isn’t one to talk too much off it. He certainly doesn’t get involved too much on social media compared to many other players.
In fact, one look at Dier’s twitter handle tells you that the 25-year-older has put out two tweets in the last 15 months. So Spurs fans were shocked when Dier decided to tweet out a picture from the team’s warm-weather training camp in Barcelona.
