A first half horror show at Old Trafford has left many Tottenham Hotspur fans taking to Twitter to vent their anger at watching their side capitulate to Manchester United.
This has been by far our worst display of the season and is a complete embarrassment. Here’s what some of the fans are saying:
That goal felt so inevitable. It'll be more unless we adjust the system. United playing with confidence & quality & wining every battle.

Well that is shambolic! What the hell! Bad enough by Bentaleb but Dier….. Have we had Lasagne again? Just don't understand it? #COYS

This could be 7, 8 if they don't sort it

Pochettino looks angry and I would hate to be a Spurs player in the changing room at half time.

What is this Poch ? The players need to be held responsible in the dressing room.

I feel like I've traveled back to the Gerry Francis days. Maybe we could get Dean Austin and Justin Edinburgh back in our defence.

We're always crap the Sunday after the Europa League, even when we're not in it.

There is no excuse for this performance….none, the selection was a fucking joke..a joke, no strength no discipline in wide areas. #thfc

Can't even single out anyone. EVERY Spurs player was pathetic in the opening 45 minutes and should be embarrassed by this performance.

That was an absolutely shambolic first half by Spurs. Not one of those players is playing well! Need a miracle in 2nd half! #MUFCvTHFC
