Spurs fans will love this image mocking Arsenal after Europa League misery

Arsenal were thrashed 4-1 by Chelsea in the finals of the UEFA Europa League played at the Baku International Stadium on Wednesday. The defeat means that the Gunners will once again be playing Europa League football for the third season in a row next campaign.

Needless to say, some Spurs fans took great delight in ridiculing Arsenal fans after the result. One Spurs fan outdid himself by posting an extremely hilarious image.

If you cast your minds back to the start of the season, Arsenal fans mocked Spurs for the advertisement in the London underground which claimed that Tottenham’s new stadium was the only ground in London where fans can watch Champions League football (talkSPORT).

One Arsenal fan even reported Tottenham Hotspur to the Advertising Standards Agency for making a claim that the club could not be certain of fulfilling (Football.London). As it happened, Spurs managed to qualify from their group and eventually did host a quarterfinal and a semifinal at their new 62,062-capacity stadium.

So one Spurs fan decided to make a similar poster for Arsenal after it was confirmed yesterday that they will be in the Europa League again next season.
